Danji Thotapalli works at Sony Pictures as the Director of the Sourcing Management Office. Danji is a native of Kandukuru in Andhra Pradesh and an MBA from Andhra University with additional management training from UCLA. Danji is a Vice President at SiliconAndhra ManaBadi where he has been instrumental in launching the Telugu Maatlaata language gameshow which subsequently aired on television as Telugaata. He is also a founder member of the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles as well as the Trivalley Telugu Sangham. Danji is very passionate about the language, culture and history of the Telugu people and has written many short stories in the past.
Danji holds the position of Director of Cultural Programs at the upcoming NATS America Telugu Sambaralu 2015. The event is a milestone in the history of Los Angeles Telugu community and will be reflective of the fact that Los Angeles is the center of the entertainment universe. Danji lives in Simi Valley with his wife Anitha and son Vaibhav.
